On the sixth of September
our clubhouse will come down

12 rotten timbers
11 crumbling pylons
10 auctioned rockers
9 sagging joists
8 leaking shingles
7 folding tables

6 hundred-hearth stones
5 feet of porch
4 squeaky floorboards
3 slamming doors
2 charcoal grills

As we say goodbye to our old clubhouse.

7 potluck suppers
