OBYC Facilities |

OBYC has a new clubhouse with a kitchen and restrooms. A telephone is available for local calls; long distance calls may be made by using telephone credit card.Private use of the clubhouse is limited to members and their guests. Members wishing to use the facilities for private functions must submit a request form click here). Our docking facilities have 9' of water at low tide, with room for dinghy tie-up. Water is available at the dock. Gasoline is sold to club members only. The nearest commercial provider of fuel is Cook's Lobsterhouse, located not far from OBYC. The nearest market is approximately 3 miles away.
The club owns four Hunter 140s, two Lasers, one Laser II, and eight Optimists, as well as three dinghiesFour guest moorings for visiting yachts are provided for a suggested donation of $20 per night, with a limit of two nights. A donation of $20 per night is expected. It may be given to the dock attendant or deposited in the box at the top of the ramp. Thank you! Water is available at the float; trash disposal is in the Dumpster. Park dinghies on the inside of the south float. Restaurants: Salt Cod Cafe is located on the right just before the cribstone bridge; Cook's Lobsterhouse is across the bridge. If, for some emergency reason, you or your boat needs to stay beyond the two-day limit, please call Len Duda at 833-5868. |
